Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be received by our representative at the airport and transferred to the hotel. In the evening you will be briefed about the trek.

Day 2: Drive to SyabruBesi (1600m/ 5249 ft.)

Drive Time: 9 hours approx.

Today we head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to SyabruBesi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli River you catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills. As you pass through Dhunche you feel as if you are heading towards deep land.

Day 3: Trek to Lama Hotel (2470m/ 8103 ft.)

Trek Duration: 6 hours

The first part of the trail crosses through BhoteKoshi and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail gradually ascents up to Bamboo. Afterwards, your trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m.) through Bamboo (1960m.) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola. There is a trail junction that connects to a high route back to SyarpaGaun and SyabruBesi; this was an old trail to Langtang before the bridge was built across the LangtangKhola. After that, we finish most of the day’s climbing and descend gently down to Lama Hotel.

Day 4: Trek to Langtang village (3430m/ 11,253 ft.) via GhoreTabela

Trek Duration: 6 hours

As you continue climbing there are occasional glimpses of LangtangLirung between the trees. At GhoraTabela [3000m], the trail emerges from the forest. Once there was a Tibetan resettlement project here, but now it is a Nepalese army post though it has no permanent inhabitants. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months. There is a monastery, which you can visit shortly before arriving at the village of Langtang, the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. The houses of Langtang and its neighboring villages are of the flat-roofed Tibetan style, surrounded by stone walls enclosing fields of buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips and barley.

Day 5: Trek Langtang Village to KyanjinGompa (3870m/ 12,696 ft.)

Trek Duration: 4 hours

The trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyanjin. Here there is a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory. You should arrive at Kyanjin by lunch time allowing time to acclimatize and explore the area. It is a dramatic setting, with snow-covered peaks surrounding you in all directions such as LangtangLirung, Ganjala peak, Tserkori, Langsisari and many others.

Day 6: Rest day at Kyanjin Gompa

Today we rest in Kyanjin Gompa and explore around KyanjinRi (4350m).

Day 7: Trek KyangjinGompa to Lama Hotel (2470m/ 8103 ft.)

Trek Duration: 7 hours

Today we head back from Kyangjin, where you retrace your route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to GhoraTabela.

Day 8: Trek Lama Hotel to ThuloSyabru (2260m/ 7414 ft.)

Trek Duration: 6 hours

The beginning of the trails is gently descent and then goes steeply up to ThuloSyabru. ThuloSyabru is one of the wonderful villages from where you can enjoy the amazing land feature and the magnificent nature with splendid views of Ganesh Himal (7110m.), LangtangHimal and its ranges.

Day 9: Trek ThuloSyabru to Laurebina (3920m/ 12,860 ft.)

Trek Duration: 6 hours

The trails from ThuloSyabru to FoprangDanda (3200m.) follows a steep ascent path passing through Dursagang (2660m.) along with the view of LangtangHimal, Ganesh Himal, Tibetan Mountain and oak, Hemlock, firs forests. Now the path gently ascends for some distance and then follows flat level to Sing Gompa. There is a well-managed local cheese factory and a Buddhist Monastery. After passing through Sing Gompa the first part of the trail emerges gently ascent up to Laurebina and the top of Laurebina gives you an exotic feeling. You follow a rugged trail with dramatic views of the west Himalchuli (7893m) Manaslu range (8156mm), Ganesh Himal range (7406m), Tibetan peaks and LangtangLirung. On a clear day, even the Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the north across the valley is LangtangLirung.

Day 10: Day excursion around Gosainkunda (4361m/ 14,307 ft.)

Today we trek to Gosainkunda for pilgrimage. The large lake around Gosainkunda is at an elevation of 4361m. There are several small stone shelters for pilgrimage on the north-western side of the lake. Hundreds of people come here to worship and bathe in the lake during the full moon festival every August. You will witness some black and white stones in the lake with an individual story about Lord Shiva and his creation. Later we head back to Laurebinayak to rest.

Day 11: Trek Laurebina to Dhunche (1763m/ 5787 ft.)

Trek Duration: 5 hours

Today we trek downhill from Laurebinayak to Dhunche. Initially we reach ChalangPati (3650m) where the deep forest emerges, where there is a zone between rich, moist mountains forest on the northern slopes and dry vegetation on the southern slopes. We reach Sing Gompa and after few minutes we would pass the army camp through scrubs and oaks from Sing Gompa. We trek downhill through rhododendron forests for about an hour where we come across a tiny village Deorali (2660m). Heading through the south river bank of Trishuli Ganga and passing through fields and pastures with few houses, we finally reach Dhunche.

Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu

Drive Time: 7-8 hours approx.

Today we drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu which takes around 7-8 hours.

Today you can relax your sore feet in the leisure of the hotel.

After breakfast this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
